Steering Committee

This group is a gathering of statewide collaborators. The Steering Committee meets monthly, alternating between locations, to share information about statewide issues and services. A call in line is made available and all of the Regional Team Leaders are welcome to join.

The Steering Group has these primary objectives:

  • Share statewide and national information that can be distributed to the local level
  • Meet with all regional team leaders at least every 6 months to define unmet needs and gaps in services
  • Identify ways to leverage existing resources and maximize the full potential of the Network
  • Maintain a Maine Resource Guide, www.MaineMCN.org, calendar of events, communication structures, and to provide presenters
  • Plan strategic network growth through marketing and public relations plan
